Holocaust Museum

Yad Vashem is Israel’s official memorial to the Jews killed in the Holocaust. The name comes from Isaiah 56:6 – translated ” a place and a name.” It is intended to be a repository of the names that will not be carried on after the holocaust. It is located in Jerusalem and consists of a museum and various memorial sites such as the Children’s Memorial and the Hall of Remembrance. It is the second most visited tourist site in Israel after the Western Wall.
