About:

Jericho, also known as the City of Palms lies on the west side of the Jordan River. Jericho is one of the most excavated sites in Israel. It is the ancient city whose walls God brought down after the Israelites marched around it for seven days (Joshua 6).  It is the place Jesus gave sight to blind Bartimeaus (Mark 10:46-52), and the place Jesus met with Zaccheaus (Luke 19:1-10).
